This competition was to design a poster with the style of a 20's/30's railway poster in collaboration with Network Rail and I Wish I Was There. The postcard had to capture a place special to you and I grew up 5 minutes away from Barry Island. I wanted to capture what makes it great which is the beach itself and the shops on the right hand side (an iconic scene from Gavin and Stacey takes place there). This was made with Adobe Illustrator and Procreate and I found out recently that this was one of the top 100 designs selected to be part of an exhibition this summer.
